Philadelphia police are searching for the person or persons responsible for an overnight burglary. It occurred at a house in the Robinhood Circle neighborhood. According to investigators, at least one burglar struck the homeowner with an unknown object during the burglary. Two shotguns were stolen in the process.

"I would like for the community to know that we are working very hard on it. We've developed some leads already and we want people to feel safe in their own homes and to know that we are working as hard as we can to solve this and bring a resolution to it as quickly and as smoothly as we can," says Philadelphia Police Chief Bill Cox.

Anyone with information that could lead to an arrest or arrests in the case is asked to call the Philadelphia Police Department at (601) 656-2131.
