Police Make Arrest in Saturday Shooting

Meridian Police say they have arrested one man for allegedly shooting another man on Saturday afternoon.
Police say they were called to the 300 block of C Street around 4:30 p.m. They say the victim fled the scene after being shot in the leg and turned up later at a local hospital.
Investigators say the weapon has been recovered and the suspect is in custody. The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
