Police Say Two Robberies Linked

Meridian police say they believe two separate armed robberies may have been committed by the same people. Officials attribute that to the weapons used and the clothing worn by the suspects, as well as other factors.

At about 12:50 a.m., two masked men entered the Cefco on North Hills Street next to Oak Manor Apartments, and robbed the clerk at gunpoint before fleeing the scene on foot.

The other incident happened Nov. 23, just before midnight, when two masked men entered the Cefco on Highway 39 in Meridian and robbed the clerk at gunpoint before fleeing on foot.

Police ask the public to examine the surveillance images in the slideshow carefully, paying attention to the clothing worn.

One suspect wore a bandanna with the letter D on it. The suit seen in both robberies is described as navy blue or black with pinstripes one inch apart.

Officials say someone could have seen these
individuals before or after the robberies, or may know someone of the same build who has clothing
shown in the photos and can tell police who they are.
