Police Standoff Ends

The Meridian Police say a man barricaded himself inside a home on Saturday evening.
Investigators say it all started when the man and a woman got into an argument. Police say that led the man to shoot the woman in the hand before he barricaded himself in the home.
MPD says the standoff eventually ended and the suspect and victim were transported to a local hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
