The Disaster Recovery Center in Quitman will close Sept. 26.
Additional claims may still be submitted after that date, but if you wish to file a claim in person, you should do so by next Wednesday.
The Disaster Recovery Center is open Monday through Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
It's located in the Sunflower Shopping Center at 109 West Donald Street in Quitman.
Staff at the center can answer questions about federal disaster assistance programs for residents affected by Hurricane Isaac..
