Quitman remains under a boil water notice, after experiencing problems with the system.

Town officials say they're not sure if extreme cold weather was the cause of a loss of water pressure Wednesday morning.

The problem has been repaired, but officials say the town will be under a boil water notice until the water has been properly tested.

The notice affects about 1100 customers.
