Meridian police are investigating a shooting Tuesday night that injured a man who was on his own porch.
Officers responded to a local hospital Wednesday where a male victim showed up for treatment of a gunshot he says he suffered Tuesday night.
The victim said he was standing on the porch of his home in the 1800 block of 24th Street when a vehicle drove by and started shooting at the victim's residence, and he was hit by one of the shots.
