The MSU Riley Center is exposing children to the arts through its Discovery Series.

Students study stories like Pocahontas, then get to see the live theatre production.

About 1400 students from the area came to the Riley Center Friday.

This is the third of six scheduled discovery presentations.

"School children get a chance to see wonderful theatre productions here at the Riley Center during the day. And it's mixed into their curriculum for study," said executive director Dennis Sankovich.

Students from Meridian and Lauderdale County, as well as Quitman and Laurel were able to enjoy Pocahontas.
