Saturday a Meridian church delivered free school supplies to an area neighborhood.

New Vision House of God Faith Center stopped by Old Marion Road Apartments to delver school essentials to children there.

The church says it chooses a different public housing complex in the community to deliver supplies to each month.

"For the next twelve months, we're going to stop by public housing, and we're going to give away school uniforms, we're going to give away materials," says Bishop Greg Williams.

New Vision will deliver free supplies to residents at St. Francis Apartments on September 24th.

What about those children who don't live in housing projects or in public housing? Are they not just as much in need and are they not just as much deserving?
