A federal judge has scheduled a Dec. 12 sentencing hearing in a sexual abuse case from Neshoba County.
Kotelia Thompson was indicted May 14 and was charged with one count each of sexual abuse of a minor and abusive sexual contact. He pleaded guilty Monday to the abusive sexual contact charge.
The indictment said the abuse happened in August and September 2011 with a girl who was under the age of 16 on land belonging to the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians in Neshoba County.
Thompson is charged in U.S. District Court in Jackson.
