A man died in a shooting in Meridian Monday evening. He was found lying in the street at 25th Avenue and 19th Street shortly before 6 p.m..
The victim was shot twice. He was taken to a local hospital but was pronounced dead not long after the shooting.
"A possible suspect has been identified, and a suspect vehicle has been identified as well. We're continuing to investigate at this time," said Police Chief James Reed.
Reed says authorities won't release the name of the suspect, or the description of the vehicle, for fear that might hinder their investigation.
