A few spots remain open for a seminar aimed at helping businesses be more savvy with social media marketing.
The EMBDC will offer a free 90-minute session through Constant Contact Friday May 10, starting at 11 a.m., at the Northeast Conference Center in Meridian.
It's designed to share why social media is important and how it can benefit small businesses.
EMBDC chamber manager, Michele Thames, says even advertisers would benefit from the educational seminar.
"And this gives those folks who are working with small businesses through advertising and marketing an opportunity to network and offer some assistance to small businesses in an area where they truly need some help," said Thames.
There's also a session on e-mail marketing set for May 17.
