Social Security Change Adjustment

Earlier this week Newscenter 11 reported about changes involving the Social Security Administration. The agency is now announcing one adjustment. The administration is pushing back its change concerning benefit verification. Previously, the agency's field offices nationwide were going to stop providing benefit verification letters starting October first. However, to ensure that there are no detrimental consequences to residents, the agency has since decided to delay this change indefinitely. This means that benefit verification letters will be provided in field offices until further notice.
