A sculpture remembering one of the most famous kisses in history is making its way across the country.
Keep the Spirit of '45 Alive is a 25-foot tall sculpture depicting the images of a sailor and a woman kissing in Times Square when World War II ended.
The statue is bound for The Greatest Generation Walk, a new park in San Diego.
Officials say the sculpture is a beautiful rendition of that famous photo.
"It is going to San Diego to be permanently displayed for the 70th anniversary of the end of the war," said driver Ron Shaw, who began the trip Monday in Trenton, New Jersey.
The statue will arrive at its destination Feb. 11. The dedication is Feb. 16.
