Spring Fest at MCC

Meridian, Miss.
Meridian Community College hosted its annual Spring Fest on campus Wednesday.

Students and staff participated in lots of outdoor events to celebrate the end of the semester.

Exams are coming up and graduation is a month away.

The event also gives the college's clubs and organizations a chance to share their purposes and activities.

"Spring Fest at MCC is a great time for all of our clubs and organizations to come out and make some money for their club or their organization and raise funds for maybe a national conference, or just sell items to raise money for their organization," said Marie Roberts, director of student recruiting. "We've also got some honor organizations out here raising money for everything from the make-a-wish foundation to relay for life."

The students also took on the staff and faculty in a softball game benefiting autism research during Autism Awareness Month.
