St. Patrick School in Giving Spirit

St. Patrick Catholic School is making the 'nice list' during the Christmas season of giving.

Students have been gathering gifts over the past three weeks for their annual Advent Service Project to give to the children of Wesley House.

Students presented the gifts during Mass Thursday morning. The flood of gifts was overflowing.

"These are beautiful gifts," said Wesley house executive director Ginger Grissom. "These children have nothing and they are going to just, I think it's going to instill hope. That's what I would pray and that they'd know that God lives."

Wesley House officials said this was the best turnout the agency has received yet from St. Patrick so far.

Needy children will receive all these presents in time for Christmas.
