Clarke County Sheriff Todd Kemp says 30-year old Greg Dillard was the man involved in the standoff with Meridian police at the Quality Inn Wednesday.
Dillard was wanted on warrants from Clarke County.
Officials say Dillard holed up in a hotel room for several hours with a weapon. He eventually surrendered peacefully to police just before 7 p.m.
