Students Help Organize Toython Gifts

Officials with Wesley House are beginning to sift through all the toys that caring individuals donated during WTOK's Toython.

A group of students from Lamar School helped unload the truck and start organizing the presents.

Wesley House officials say the toys will go a long way toward fulfilling needs this Christmas.

"We start with nothing on tables in a room filled with tables," said Wesley House executive director Ginger Grissom. "And now we are adding toys to those tables, and we're beginning to see Christmas take place for a bunch of little kids."

There is still time to donate to Wesley House. You may bring toys or monetary donations by during regular business hours at 1520 8th Avenue in Meridian.
