Meridian High School students joined others around the country and the world for See You at the Pole Wednesday morning. The event has been part observed since 1990.

Some of these students have participated since they were in elementary school.

See You at the Pole takes place before school starts and is led by the students themselves.

"All the students gather around. We just pray for our school, pray for our nation and everybody in need," said MHS student Denzel Turner. "People in the hospitals. People in the jail cells. We just come and pray."

See You at the Pole started as a grassroots movement with ten students in Texas. Millions now participate worldwide.
