Quitman, Miss. The sights and sounds of Christmas filled Quitman Upper Elementary School Wednesday.
About 150 fourth grade students performed a Christmas musical for friends and family.
The Christmas spirit was shared and toys were collected by the student body for families needing a little help this year.
"They chose to be toys in a toy store, so we took the opportunity to hold a toy drive," said music teacher Karen Current. "And the whole school participated and we're going to donate those toys to the sheriff's department and they're going to give them to needy families this Christmas. "
Students began working on the Christmas play in September.
Parents were also invited to have lunch at school with their children.
