Meridian Police responded to a robbery at the Subway restaurant on Highway 39 around 9:30 on Wednesday night.
Restaurant workers tell Newscenter 11 that a man wearing a red ski mask entered the store and took an undisclosed amount of cash and a cell phone.
A Meridian Police officer was then involved in a wreck while responding the robbery call. The accident happened at 18th Avenue and 19th Street.
Newscenter 11 is working to gather more information on both incidents.
