Successful Week for "Love Out Loud"

Meridian, Mississippi It's the end of a week filled with special worship services and community service projects for a local church.

It all ended with worship service in Dumont Plaza on Friday evening. It was the final day of "Love Out Loud," a mission that members of Northcrest Baptist Church in Meridian created as a way to give back to the community. Participants spent the week traveling to various schools and community organizations to help with a number of projects. Plans are already underway for next year.

"Yes, we've already a lot of quick requests," Ben Shirley says. "Of how we're going to do next year, suggestions, people wanting to do it more than once a year and we hope this is just the beginning. We hope this continues on and this is just a start."

Northcrest Baptist says it got the idea for "Love Out Loud" from another church that organized a local mission trip.
