Two super loads headed to the Kemper County lignite plant on Highway 45 are behind schedule.

The transport made it to the Noxubee River Bridge near Shuqualak.

Overnight the super loads stopped there to reinforce dollies to stabilize the loads for the crossing.

Officials say engineers will check the bridges to make sure that all goes smoothly.

The super loads will stage at Shuqualak and stay until Sunday. It's not expected to get to the plant site now until Nov. 7.
