Meridian police say they arrested a shooting suspect minutes after the incident Friday morning.
Officials say 22-year-old Brad D. Johnson fired a gun at a moving vehicle as he walked about 8:30 a.m. in the area of St. Paul Street and 29th Avenue.
Police say the intended target was the driver but only his vehicle was damaged. The shooter and victim knew each other.
The charge against Johnson is shooting into an occupied vehicle. His bond was set at $250,000.
