TCW Shares Positive Message

Meridian, Miss. Traditional Championship Wrestling is in Meridian this weekend. The show is calling it 'Mississippi Meltdown'.

But Friday the crew from TCW paid a visit to the Boys and Girls Club of East Mississippi to give back to the community.

Professional wrestler Matt Riviera wanted to give a positive message to the children. He told them to do the right thing and stand up for what's right.

"Whenever we do a show and TCW comes to town, we like to talk to the youth in the area and give them a positive message and give them a message to do the right thing and that's the one thing with wrestling," said Riviera. "We are a good clean family entertainment and we come to town we like to make it a community event. It is always one of the highlights of the week is to come into town like meridian boys and girls club and speak to the kids."

The TCW international TV taping will start Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at the Frank Cochran Center. Tickets are $10 general admission; $20 for second and third row seats; and $30 for front-row seats.

The ticket outlets are Chunky River Harley Davidson, the UPS Store and Sam's Fashion.
