Teens Arrested Minutes After Armed Robbery

Meridian Police say they arrested two teenagers within 15 minutes of committing an armed robbery on Friday night.

Investigators say the robbery happened around 7:45 in the Meridian Crossroads, in front of Books-A-Million. Police say the suspects robbed a woman as she was getting into her car.

Authorities chased the suspects who fled on foot and apprehended them near Geoffrey's toy store. Investigators say the suspects are a 16-year old black black male and a 15-year old white male. Captain Dean Harper says they are being charged as adults.
