Teens Engage in Prayer and Worship

Locals gathered on Thursday evening for a night of praise and worship.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes held its annual fields of faith event on at the Meridian Community College soccer complex. The annual event is used to create awareness of ministry outreach and to expose students to the gospel of Jesus Christ, as told by their peers in all schools associated with the local FCA chapter in the Meridian area.

"It is basically focused on students sharing the message of whatever God has done in their lives with one another," Brandon Dewease with FCA says. "Because as adults, if we tell them what God's done, that's great. But as peer counseling, if they tell each other one to one what God has done, that's golden."

FCA is the largest christian sports ministry in the world.
