Teens Face Charges as Adults

Lauderdale County authorities say two of the juveniles arrested in last month's bust of a car theft ring have been booked into the county jail as adults.

Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun says 16-year old Jamario Roach and 17-year old Markeey Green both face 15 felony counts each, eight counts of auto burglary and seven for motor vehicle theft.

In addition, Green is charged with disorderly conduct.

The two were arrested after a rash of car burglaries and thefts on the weekend of Nov. 17-18.

Bond for Green was set at $38,000, while Roach's bond was set at $37,000.
