Meridian, Miss. Meridian's Temple Theatre will kick off the spooky season with a silent horror film this weekend.
The Saturday night movie will be accompanied by organist David Bennett. The Temple will be showing "Nosferatu" , which is the oldest vampire movie, produced in 1921. Theater officials say it's a family-friendly event that is something special.
"Very few people who are alive now, get to see it, but this is how movies used to be shown", explained Lynne Romero. "There was always an organist who played and you had little captions."
The movie starts at 7:00 this Saturday night at the Temple Theatre on Meridian's 8th Street. It's only $5.00 to get in, and tickets are available at the door.
