WTOK's Toython is Friday and Saturday at the Wal-Mart Supercenter at Bonita.
WTOK partners with Wesley House each year to collect new, unwrapped toys to go to the children served by the charitable agency. Peavey loans a large truck to collect and transport the toys.
"WTOK is certainly appreciative of all our viewers who every year, faithfully, donate to this," said WTOK general manager Tim Walker. "And we also thank those agencies that help us, Wal-Mart, Peavey. This year, The Radio People have been instrumental in helping us get the word out, so we're looking forward to a great event And we appreciate everyone's support."
"People are able to go and do their Christmas shopping, pick up an extra toy and just drop it off," said Scott Stevens of The Radio People. "In fact we're going to be out there helping support it as well and we're just glad to be a part of it."
"I love the Toython," said Wesley House director Ginger Grissom. "The Toython is the jump start for our program here at Wesley House at Christmas time. We depend upon you; when we try to fill that 18-wheeler, please know that it's never full enough to provide toys for everybody in need."
Toython is Friday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
