Meridian, Miss. A unique art exhibit was on display at the MSU Riley Center Tuesday, during the National Civil Rights Conference.
"Peace Flags in the Wind" as the art exhibit is known, allows students to express themselves through their artwork. The students are asked to create artwork that is a symbol of peace and how they would bring peace into the world.
"It's about bringing everybody together no matter what your race is, your skin color, and whatever," said one of the art students. "It's just uniting everybody and being one big happy family. Everybody is a rainbow, like everybody has a different color and nobody cares."
The group of students are traveling from Miami, Florida, and will be making their next stop in Orlando.
