Truck Crash Closes Downtown Bridge

Police were forced to close a busy down bridge late Saturday night because of a wreck.

The 22nd Avenue bridge in downtown Meridian was closed around midnight because a power truck somehow crashed into the guard rail on the bridge. Crews were forced to clean up glass, debris, and diesel.

There is no word on the condition of the truck driver.
