The University of West Alabama board of trustees has hired an investigator to look into allegations of wrongdoing by the board.
The executive committee for the board voted earlier this week to hire former UWA trustee Drayton Pruitt to investigate those claims, made by current president Dr. Richard Holland. Holland is on administrative leave while the investigation is conducted.
The full board voted last week not to renew Holland's contract.
