An Ohio man has been sentenced to almost eight years in prison for robbing a Meridian bank.
Federal authorities say 39-year-old Stuart Lee Vance of Cleveland was sentenced Friday in Jackson. He pleaded guilty to robbing the Great Southern National Bank in Meridian in October 2008.
Vance was also tied to a series of bank robberies in Ohio in August of 2008, which began with the robbery of National City Bank in Kettering.
He was nicknamed the 'Rush Hour Robber' by authorities for the times he hit banks.
