Meridian, Miss. Vintage cars and street rods invaded Meridian Tuesday night. The "Vintage Air Tour" made a stop in the Queen City to show off the prized vehicles at Mike Goldman's Customs.
The tour includes dozens of car enthusiasts from around the country.
The vice president of the tour, Rick Love, and Goldman say it's not just about the cars.
"Americans have had a love affair with cars and hot rods forever, but the thing that makes this really stand out is the people," Love said. "We all love driving these old cars, but we do these tours every year and have some people come back with us every year and we go to different places every year. And it's the people that really make this thing fun. We all share a love of cars. Mike shares his love by building these beautiful cars and then his customers get to drive them, but its the fellowship we have together that makes it a lot of fun."
The next stop for the Vintage Air Tour is Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
