Volunteer, Donation Information in Louisville, Tupelo

There are donation centers set up in Louisville and Tupelo for the collection of items needed by victims of Apr. 28 tornadoes and to coordinate volunteer efforts.

A donations warehouse is set up at the Louisville/Winston County Coliseum, 201 Ivy Avenue, Louisville, MS 39339. The phone number there is (662) 773-7896.

A volunteer reception center is open in the parking lot at the coliseum.

Those wishing to volunteer are asked to come to the reception center to register so you can be used most effectively in the area in need.

The Tupelo branch of United Way is requesting non-perishable food items and cleaning supplies. The United Way donation site is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and located at the Hunter-Sadler Building, 1031 South Green Street, Tupelo.

Donations can be coordinated through the donation hotline 662-871-2819. Individuals in need of supplies may also call 662-871-2819.
