Volunteers Recognized for Completing Training

Future volunteer firefighters were recognized for their efforts in getting training for the job.

Thirteen firefighters were on hand at the Lauderdale County Emergency Management Agency Thursday night after completing the Mississippi Volunteer Firefighter Certification,
Level 1.

That represents over 100 hours of hands-on and classroom instruction. It took over ten months for the volunteers to complete the program.
