WTOK Livestream Now Available on Mobile Devices

Up until just a few weeks ago, you could only watch Good Morning Meridian, Live at Five, Newscenter 11 at 6:00 and 10:00, and severe weather coverage from your TV or computer, but as times have changed, where more and more people are accessing news content online through phones and tablets, so have we. WTOK General Manager Tim Walker says that he wants to make getting more news convenient.

"People have busy, busy lives. They're at ball games with their children, they're on the road traveling, they're in different places of the country even, and they want to keep up with what's going on at home. What we've tried to do is advance with people's needs and follow their lifestyle."

That change now allows you to view our content on your iPhone, iPad, and any Android device two different ways.

The first way to see our newscasts and severe weather coverage is simply by opening up your internet browser and going to wtok.com, from there you just simply click on the "Click here for Livestreaming of Newscenter 11 banner at the top of the page. It will bring you to this page and all you have to do is click play. The second way is to download our mobile app from either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. From there you click on "Video" from the Apple App and then "Live Video", or the "More" button and then Live Streaming on your Android. Both take you to the live stream section of our website.

All of these improvements mean better access to even more news, sports, and weather than ever before.

"Video on Demand, or watching news stories on our website has always been very popular as long as we've been doing that. Now it's better. The quality's better, there's more stories, they're on faster, and we're now providing some archived full-length newscasts that we haven't provided in the past."
