Some water customers in parts of Choctaw County have been without a reliable water source since Thursday night.
Residents we spoke to Sunday evening say that officials with the North Choctaw Water Authority have been in contact with residents, and called an emergency meeting Sunday to look into what is causing the problem.
The water service is based in Lisman and serves several other communities.
We were unable to contact the water authority office Sunday, but we will
have more information as it becomes available.

Ive been wothout water since Mon. Jan 16 this is ridiculous. Every day I call and get another empty story. One day when I got home from work there was a case of water sitting by my back door, it smells old and taste terrible I think its surplus from the hurricane. Thanks a lot. Surely there is something that can be done to get this water back on. they have been bleeding the lines for air since Thursday, this is ridiculous, all the lines in Al could have been bled by now!!!! Can someone do something?????

North Choctaw water Co. has some lazy people working for them. I know because I was one of there customers. They need to get this fixed. Wonder who all is affected? Wonder what they are doing to fix this problem? Or what they are doing to help there customers. Remember, there customers make your paycheck. It probably could've been fixed this weekend but they were too sorry to get off their lazy tales to do it. They all probably had water!!!!!
