The National Weather Service's Jackson office says three teams will spend Wednesday surveying storm damage in 10 Mississippi counties and one parish in Louisiana.
One team will go to Lowndes County and do additional assessment in Winston and Leake counties.
The weather service says the second team will complete the survey of a tornado that went from Richland to Pearl. That team also will check damage in Scott, Newton and Lauderdale counties.
A third team will survey damage in Madison Parish, La., and in Warren, Hinds and Madison counties in Mississippi.
