Students from area high schools, community colleges, and universities attended the 5th Annual Etiquette Workshop at MSU Meridian.
Students for the Advancement of Management hosts the workshop every year. It features a dress for success demonstration, networking skills, and a dinner etiquette lesson.
Students and faculty alike say the event prepares graduates for job interviews and careers.
"I'm just hoping to get some good manners that will help me in the future and make me comfortable with business centers," said Jamie Cantey, an MSU Meridian student.
"Any opportunity is an opportunity to network," said Cassandra Latimer of the MSU Career Center. "Students just have to recognize those opportunities and know how to proceed accordingly."
About 50 people attended the workshop.
