2012 Distinguished Young Woman of Mississippi winners were announced Saturday night.

This year's Distinguished Young Woman of Mississippi program wrapped up Saturday night after three nights of competition. Preliminary awards were handed out Friday night following the second night of competition. Tonight, the Top 10 contestants competed in self-expression, fitness, and talent for a second time.

Mallory Pitts of Starkville was chosen as the 2012 Distinguished Young Woman of Mississippi. She will compete for the title of Distinguished Young Woman of America next summer in Mobile, Alabama.

Lauderdale County native Paige Ip was awarded the Overall Self-Expression award on Saturday night, after being named to the Top 10.
