"Dancing Like The Stars" Competitors Announced

Meridian, Miss. "Dancing Like the Stars" is just a couple of weeks away, and tonight, organizers introduced the competitors.

The big reveal happened at the Elegance Ballroom Dance Studio in Downtown Meridian. The upcoming event is a fundraiser for Multi-County Community Services Agency. You'll see people like Meridian City Councilman Dustin Markham, Doctor Virginia Nelson, Cat Owen of WMOX Radio as well as our own Chip Scarborough, Louis Montesi, Tiffany Harper and Deana Day on the dance floor. Dancers Lindsay Peak and Sinessa Wilburn say it's an exciting experience. "Everyone's putting a lot of effort into it and just watching people evolve into great dancers," said Peak. "It's really entertaining!" (Reporter) What are you most looking forward to on the big night? Sinnessa Wilburn responded "The contributions that will go to the homeless shelter."

The event is December 6th at Meridian's Frank Cochran Center. Tickets are $50.00, and include a wonderful gourmet dinner. You can get them from any of the competitors or by calling Mary Atterberry at 601-938-2773.
