An armed robbery took place in Meridian at the Pizza Hut on North Hills Street at about 11:40 PM Monday Night.
A black male suspect dressed in all black clothing pulled a weapon on the employee with the night deposit box then ran into the wooded area behind the restaurant.
Police are searching for the suspect.
