The Community Gospel Festival
: Each year for the last past three years, churches in the Meridian/Lauderdale and surrounding communities, once a year, come together, as a unified body of believers and followers of Jesus Christ in a Gospel Festival Musical Program sending up heavenly praises, In a spirituel way that tends to always unify our efforts in helping make our community, a better community in which each of us can live and be proud of living in.

We, The St. Peter's A. M. E. Zion Church Family,is Located at 3500 13th Street, Meridian, Mississippi, where the Rev. Ola Dixion is our pastor, would like to extent to the Public an invitation to come join us in a Community- Wide Gospel Festival, on Sunday, September 16, 2012, beginning at 2:30p.m.
This Joyous and heavenly heart felt warmth Praise and Worship Services, was originated three years ago,with the program chairman the late Jeannette Spinks at the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
We are asking for all Choirs/Soloist and Praise Teams in Meridian and surrounding areas, to come out and render two selections of their choice.
We are encouraging all church families, friends and Community Leaders to come join us and sing with us in our Community-Wide Gospel Choir.

what a time, what a time, when all of God's children come together to praise and worship him in truth and in spirit. We are extending, to the public, an invitation to come and help us lift up heavenly praises, in an effort to show the world that we are a praying community, and we are strong in the Lord, our Savior Jesus Christ and the the devil can't do us no harm.
Our communities, churches, homes, parents and our children are all standing in the need of a heavenly blessing to help bring peace and prosperity to each of us.
