UPDATE: Teen Summit on Crime

Mayor's Youth Leadership Council

Thursday, January 31 - 6:00 PM - Meridian City Hall

We have already seen tremendous support for the Teen Summit on Crime. This will be a night of collaboration and answers for the youth of Meridian and Lauderdale County.

We thank everyone who is helping with this event. While everyone is invited to attend, we do ask that all youth attending be seated first at the summit. Only after all youth have found a chair should adults be seated.

The Teen Summit on Crime is organized by our youth. The questions are from our youth. It will be moderated by our youth.

UPDATE: Meridian Law Enforcement Center

The following is an update on the Meridian Law Enforcement Center being built by Heritage Building Corporation.

* Sheetrock is finished

* Communication lines are connected

* HVAC is in place

* Ceiling tiles are being installed

* Interior painting is in progress

* Courtroom work is forthcoming soon


We are still on pace for a spring opening.
