College Students Talk Money

College Students Talk Money

Business students at MSU Meridian received some practical advice on making their money work for them.

Bank representatives shared tips on how to make wise investments and use credit to their advantage.

School officials said informal sessions like this are valuable because money management is even more important in times of economic uncertainty.

"Most of us know that what's learned in the classroom doesn't always happen in the real world as it's supposed to," said Joshua Luke, president of Students for the Advancement of Management. "So this is more real-world; it's more realistic and more concrete and more practical advice to know when dealing with business finance or personal finance."

BankPlus funded the stock market ticker that has been added to the lobby of the MSU Meridian Division of Business downtown.
