Teen Assaulted

A 16-year-old boy was sent to the hospital after being assaulted at an apartment complex on Tuesday evening.
Meridian Police were called to Azalea Park apartments after reports of an armed robbery there. Police say that a 16-year-old was assaulted and threatened with a weapon, but no weapon was displayed. Money was taken from the victim and he was sent to the hospital.
Police are looking for a black male wearing a white tank top. If you have any information, contact Meridian Police.
