The United Way of East Mississippi has announced that John Anderson has been elected Chairman of the United Way Board of Directors for the 2012- 2013 season.
John Anderson joined the staff of Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in 1990, and was recently named Administrator of Anderson Regional Medical Center South (formerly Riley Hospital). Before being named Administrator at Anderson South, Anderson served as Vice President of Clinical Operations at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Anderson is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), the nation’s leading professional society for healthcare leaders.
Previously, Anderson served as United Way’s Pacesetter Chairman, and Campaign Chairman. Anderson is President of the MIDD Board of Directors and is a member of First Baptist Church. John and his wife, Debra are the proud parents of four adult children and four grandchildren.
Executive Director, Thad Quarles said, “United Way is extremely grateful for the outstanding leadership John has brought to the Board, and we look forward with great anticipation to his tenure as Chairman.”
