Gas Prices Dip Below $3.00

Gas prices have fallen below $3.00 a gallon in east Mississippi.
Several gas stations in Lauderdale County are now selling gasoline for $2.99 per gallon.
Some stations in the state are selling it for as low as $2.86, according to GasBuddy.com. Prices have been gradually declining for months.
The statewide averages are still above $3.00 a gallon.
Gas sells for $3.07 per gallon, on average, in Mississippi. It average $3.10 per gallon in Alabama.
The national average is at $3.48 per gallon.
